Why would a guy friend bite a friends arm?

I was hanging out with my guy friend today and I guess he was getting kind of flirty. I was trying to help him with some work and he pulled my face close so basically are lips were touching. He grabbed my arm and bit it and he did it too hard and he said he was sorry and he thought it left a mark. He ended up doing it again on both arms where he left marks. Why would you bite someone's arm?

That's really weird and not in the fun way. If he thinks it's okay to hurt you without consent as a friend can you imagine what he could be like in a different type of relationship? It sounds like a bad situation.

Yeah I'm not sure what was up with it. He came up to me later and apologized for it and said he hadn't meant to hurt me. I don't know.

It's good that he knew it was wrong. But the fact that he did it three times and then didn't work out that it was wrong until later is worrying.
