Can giving space backfire?

I chose to give space to a guy I am dating because he's been busy and I am actually scared that it'll make him draw away from me instead of the opposite..

So, can it backfire? :(

"Giving space" won't make him distant. If he leaves, he just wasn't interested in you. If you have to hover around him to keep his interest neither of you will be happy.

I love this. Because he just looks really overwhelmed and tired so I don't want to give him any more pressure you know? I want to wait until he is okay less busy

ofcourse it can backfire.. he may think u aren't interested in him anymore. this is the thing with busy guys...

if you feel like ure giving too much space, just... chat him once in a while. send him quick messages you know, just so you keep in contact. so he doesn't think you lost interest

Yes, it can backfire. If it does, though, it's because you weren't compatible in the first place.

it should be mutual though. if he isn't doing any of the contacting he may have already lost interest in you.
