Why does this guy always look away the instant he sees me?

So I work with this guy, who isn't that shy towards other girls and is strange around me. But every single time he sees me, he instantly looks at me or down at the floor. If we're talking then he'll look at me sometimes but then look down at the floor or to the side. And then most of the time when we walk by each other at work he will stare at me but I just look straight ahead. He also looks at me with a blank stare which is strange anddd he knows I like him too. He also said there might be a connection with us. My friend said that he was looking at me 6-7 times! Then she said to him hey I saw that then he's like what! What haha and then his face got all red. Any ideas of why someone would act like this?

Sounds like he doesn't think he's on your level, or he doesn't know how to get things moving I. e. he's shy with his feelings.

I have his number already lol I've known him for 4 years we use to text all the time and he'll message me if were out that night and ask where I am and sometimes I'll text him saying we're going out this night you should come but that's about it

Depends on how interested you are then... As to how far you are willing to go... I once had a girl pull over and ask me out to a party as I was walking to my apt. from work I told her I needed a shower she said "no you don't a man should smell like a man." Hottest thing ever!
