How come people act like they don't know you around other people?

its so annoying! they know me but they don't look at me or anything when they see other people they know or when they're are with someone else they act like they don't know me and everything. ill be sitting there staring at them waiting for them to look at me then they don't say anything or look at me. or if I'm sitting next to people they know they won't talk to me no no they'll talk to other people like I don't even exist why do people do that?

i hated that, so fake. people do that are usually the shallow type who think they are better than you for some reason. don't let someone use you in private but can't speak to you in public, that's not a friend. just don't talk to them when they want to talk to you.
