These two incidents happened without my knowledge, but my friend witnessed both and told me about it.
1. Apparently his friends were teasing him about me, nudging him and saying, "You find her pretty right?" He refused to reply, and just kept smiling while looking at the floor.
2. He was presenting answers to a question at the front of the class which was in front of my desk, and he was casually discussing the answers with me and others sitting in front when his friend from behind shouted, "Oi, if you want a girl's number just ask!" And he was frowning while shaking his head frantically and mouthing "no" back.
And finally, a good friend of mine happened to go out for lunch together with him and a couple of other classmates. She was shocked when he asked one of the other guy classmates, "Hey, does (my name) have a boyfriend?" The guy classmate replied, "Uh, no.. Why?" And he just continued on with "Oh, nothing, she just looks like the type." And proceeded to ask my good friend about my ethnicity. When she answered, "I think so, why?" Another male classmate asked him, "Are you interested?" He just kept quiet and didn't answer. The subject was changed at the table, haha.
I'm one of the most dense people there's ever been around, and the fact that I've been in a girls' school for 10 years with hardly any contact with guys doesn't really help, so I was just curious to know what this means. He could genuinely just be asking because he's curious right, and not because he's interested? He's hardly ever talked to me, and I doubt you could like someone you've never talked to. Or perhaps it wasn't a crush and just simply eyecandy, but according to my friend, it's not just eyecandy if he's going around asking people if you're single... OR maybe i'm just reading too much into everything hahaha I'd love to get your opinion on it!
