There's this guy I'm interested in but I'm not sure if he's interested in me as well.

Usually he doesn't initiate conversation with me but one day out of the blue he said he was getting coffee and asked if I needed anything. I asked to join him on the coffee run instead.

While we were waiting for coffee, we spoke a bit. He was engaged in the conversation but seemed a little tense the whole time. But he did conclude on "nice chatting with you."

Now a few days later he's gone to not talking to me again.

I don't really know if he's interested in you. If it was me, I would have just said something by now. Questions for you.

1. Is he awkward person? Like is it hard for him to talk to women?

2. Is he open to dating. What is his current dating life?

Honestly, just ask him to join you on a coffee run or even to chill dinner. See if he takes your offer or maybe gives another suggestion. You could even ask him about his relationship status. It's all just chit chat and networking.

Not 100% sure about his dating life. He seems single. He's a sociable person and speaks to everyone with ease but awkward around me. Maybe he finds me way too intimidating.

Probably because I gave a bad first impression of me. I was too closed off in my interaction and probably came across as disliking him

Well, you should probably improve your interaction with him. Grab some food or even just let him know you'd like to spend more time together. Don't make this a hard situation. Sometimes you just have to ask.
