Is this guy interested in me?

My father sometimes goes to the US for work and the last time we went there together. When we were there my father introduced me a guy and his father he was my fathers friend. We had a nice conversation there and I came back to my own country couple days later. We got each other's number for something. Then he started chatting with me since that day like for a month. It's more like friendly but he writes every day. how do i know if he is interested in me? My English is not great sorry for the mistakes.

Your English is fine hun. I understand what you are saying perfectly. So hard to say. He may have just liked you as a new friend or someone to keep in touch with. You might just be a genuinely nice person and worth contacting. It really depends on what he writes to you and if there is any signs of flirting or him wanting to see you again. Since I can't read what he writes if you give me a little detail about the exchanges I might have a better idea.

Oh thank you, you are so nice :) Yes I should give more detail. He is like friendly but I feel something else still not sure and there is a little bit language barrier sometimes I can't understand peoples talking style unfortunately. He asks how my day going, when it's Monday he asks about my weekend. And if I say I was with my friends he is asking what I do with them. He asks about my country and he said he has some relatives here and maybe he will come here this year.

Ah okay. So that very last sentence in the first reply says a lot. If he is willing to come see you or hinting at it there could be more than friends in his mind.

Yes but he didn't say anything about meeting if comes here, he just said, maybe I can come there this year, I have relatives too

Yeah but it sounds to me that he is hinting at the idea if he comes he will see you. He might be waiting to see how you respond to that. He wouldn't tell you otherwise I don't think.

Oh okay I got it hope it is as you say. But there is a problem. We were chatting for a month and a half almost everyday and he didn't send message the last two days so do you think he waits a message from me or he doesn't even care about it?

Maybe he got busy. It was the weekend and could have had plans. I would not worry about that too much. That happens. I don't think he would go to all that effort to keep in touch for all this time and then just stop.

I think maybe Tuesday or Wednesday would be appropriate for you to message. If it were me I would have something interesting to bring up so that it looks like you couldn't wait to tell him. Maybe something coming up in your life or something that happened over the weekend. Even just asking how the weekend was would be good.

I don't have something interesting to tell him about my weekend unfotunately I hanged out with my friends that's it :D Last time we texted was Friday. I can send a message like how was your weekend but I don't want to misundestand his friendship and so I don't want to behave awkward. So do you think I should wait for that and send Tuesday or Wednesday? :/
