Guy asking me about eating pineapple?

i was at a friends birthday dinner and I was eating some pieces of pineapple and they guy next to me was talking to two of his friends. He then turns to me, having only spoken to me a couple of times before, if I enjoy eating pineapple. I said yes and thought he was being strange, so did my friends. He then turns to his friend and askes if it works on men too.

Did I participate in some sort of sexual joke and what was he getting at?

(btw he was being odd throughout, my guy friends said he would look at them 'angry' if they spoke to me and he called me beautiful at the end, told him I wasn't interested and got out of there with my group)

The only thing about pineapples i have heard is that if a man eats it, it can make his cum taste sweet. Not sure if there is any truth in it though! Might just be one of those stories.
