Guys, why does my boyfriend always pull my shirt down in the back?

My boyfriend and I recently made it official, I work with him and he always will pull down my shirt in the back when it creeps up a bit. Today he told me that's for him and no one else. I'm guessing he doesn't want others to see? Or is he embarrassed by me?
