Why does my boyfriend pull my shirt down around his friends? Why does he want them to see my boobs?

My boyfriend is always asking me to show my cleavage especially in front of his friends. I have larger boobs (D cups) and I understand that he likes and wants to se them but why does he want his friends to see what is his? Sunday night he had a few of his guy friends over to play pool in the garage after the football games. I joined them in a few pool games, we were all drinking and having a good time. I wore a red tube top shirt with a strapless bra that showed a LOT of cleavage that my boyfriend asked me to wear, my BF's friend was going around recording some of us with his phone just for fun, when he was recording me my boyfriend came up behind me and pulled my tube top down and my bra came down with it and it was all caught on the friends phone. I told him to stop and pulled my bra and shirt back up as the other guys laugh. A few min later my boyfriend did it again except this time he held my hands down by my side so I could not cover up or pull my top up. It was pretty embarrassing standing there with my boobs out in front of 3 other guys until I finally got away. I told my boyfriend if he did it again I was going to go inside. Why would he pull my boobs out in front of his friends like that? It makes me not want to wear shirts like that when his friends are around.

That's not the only time he has done things like that either. He has pulled my skirt up in front of them before too showing them my thongs. Why does he want to show my off like that? I just want to be all his.

From a psychological point of view, he views you as a possession of his that he can show off to others. It is equivalent to him showing off the engine in his new car to his friends. The intended result is that his friends should envy him (both because of your "attributes" as well as his power to do what he wants with you). However, while a car has no feelings you certainly do--unfortunately, he doesn't seem to care much about how you feel. This is disrespectful and immature behavior.

My advice would be to make it absolutely clear to him that you do not like this behavior and will not tolerate it in the future. There is always the possibility that he doesn't really understand how childish this behavior is--it may even be something he has seen in his own home as he was growing up (if not the behavior itself, then a general disrespect towards women). You need to tell him to grow up or he won't have you around to show off to his friends any longer...

No offense, but you are crazy as hell to even be dating a guy like that. The first time he did it should have been the last time you saw him. That is so disrespectful and you need to watch out for him before he ups the ante and decides that he and his friends wanna run a train on you. Oh boy, I would feel so degraded and disrespected if my boyfriend did that. My man doesn't like my cleavage showing, especially in front of other guys. Your boyfriend clearly knows that you aren't okay with this and continues to do so anyway. I don't think you should put up with that, my advise would be to walk and not look back

I agree this behavior is totally unacceptable and disrespectful - if you have made it clear that you don't like it and he continues to do it, it's because he's doesn't respect your feelings and doesn't take you seriously. I would kick him to the curb and find someone who truly views you as a prize that they want to cherish.
