I asked a good friend if he's into anyone and he replies "nope not at the moment". What are the chances that he secretly likes me?

It sounds like he's into you. He's not really lying if he answers your question that way, he's cleverly meaning everyone except you. Just like you didn't tell him about your crush. He probably thinks you like someone else, and he's too shy to ask you directly.

You have to make a move. If you wait for him, he might never decide, some more aggressive woman might steal him away, or he might lose interest.
