My crush avoids eye contact when passing me?

first of all, I dont really think he knows that I'm interested in him in this way. whenever we have conversations at work we hold eye contact just fine. the other day we held eye contact when talking and it was starting to almost feel like it was dragging on a bit, and being the awkward person I am I wanted to look away. but whenever we pass each other around a corner or down an aisle, it seems like he's making a point to not look at me. almost everyone I pass I acknowledge in some way, whether it's exchanging smiles or a quick "hey, how's it going?". but he just stares off at literally anything else as I smile at him and then realize "oh yeah shit he never looks". it makes me feel invisible, what do you think the deal is?

oh my god today when I was at my locker, about to leave work he was leaning on the lockers two feet away from me, completely silent staring across the room. when I was walking to clock out, he was ahead of me with our coworker. our coworker said to him "that was your chance" OH MY GOD GON HNFOS GODBG SHIIIIIIIITTTTT
