Why is my crush now avoiding eye contact with me?

We used to always make eye contact and I would catch him glancing at me multiple times and just knew he found me attractive. He got a girlfriend recently and now refuses to look me in the eye anymore. He either goes on his phone or looks away immediately when he sees me. I don’t understand I thought he found me cute. But he still looks at me when I think i’m not looking. Does he just hate me now for no reason

It was the way he looked at me first like a rude way then looked away, I liked him for a year and he got a girlfriend less than a month ago so i’ve been trying to move from him but he keeps appearing everywhere i go so there’s no avoiding
