Guys, what do you feel when a girl ignores your flirting attempts?

So this guy at school is constantly trying to flirt with me. I usually just try to pretend that he's not flirting and that things are an accident and stuff. For example, in class he stares at me, but I pretend not to notice at all. What would you feel if the girl you liked pretended not to notice your flirting? Should I go and straight out tell him that I don't like him?

I stop flirting, pretty straight forward. If she isn't responding I am not going to pursue her anymore, if she can't see how great of a guy I am from the beginning then she is blind and doesn't deserve for me to be her boyfriend from the start. Its her loss, not mine. I wish I was joking but I know I am better then most guys out there so I can do things like this, other guys might have a little more difficulty.
