Why's he offended that I call him a womanizer?

I've been chatting to an extremely hot older man, 12 years my senior. He is very charming and intelligent too with an amazing job so he's lots of beautiful women after him. They're always liking and commenting on his fb pics so I wonder whether he's flirting with them too. During conversations i've called him a player and a womanizer a few times but he gets annoyed. I tell him I thought guys would see it as complimentary to get lots of women but he insists it's insulting. ... he's no longer talking to me (yet)

Does his reaction mean he's probably not a womanizer? Would a womanizer/player not react this badly nor get so offended? He's too great looking and sexy to not be a player in my opinion.

He probably takes it as an insult, ascociating a 'womanizer' with someone who is disrespectful to women and only caring about sex and getting with as many women as possible.
Maybe is is one and just didn't like being called out on it.
Maybe he's not and just likes to chat and flirt with ladies and see where things go. Maybe he's lonely.

Just don't call him that again now that you know he doesn't like it. Maybe apologize, "I'm sorry if I offended you I was just joking when I said you were a player/womanizer"

Well, no one wants to be insulted like that... it is a derogatory term. I would exactly like to be called a slut or player myself. If I am, then whatever, but it's not something that many take to well when they are called that. It was actually quite rude of you and it's really rude that you continue to say that about him when he asks you not to. Good for him for cutting you off.

Well I find it rude him saying that women only look goof in their 20's. That he only dates women in their 20's. After I turn 30 it'll all go downhill and men age a lot better. He's 41 and comes across like the typical womanizer with things he says. Like that... I told him it upsets me yet he keeps saying it. He is an ageist

Lots of players feign offense at being called what they are. It's a way of denying the truth so you'll let your guard down so they can add u to the list.

If you see signs that he's a womanizer don't go near him.
