What does it mean when a boy caresses my leg or rubs his feet against mine?

Well, I'm kind of about to turn fourteen, so this isn't anything really serious, so yeah... I'm a bit of the awkward type, I don't understand love and such things... So well, my story is: I've always (since I was three) been friends with guys, not so much now. So I noticed that lately, when I invite one of my best friends over, we start watching videos or sit at the dining table and he sort of slowly but surely gets closer to me. Like, touching my feet with his, making our shoulders brush against each order or caressing my thigh or the area above my knee... (Basically making closer contact with me when he thinks I'm not paying attention) And then he's always trying show off when I'm around or telling me stories of stuff he did. So I've been wondering, maybe he likes me? But on the other hand, he always says his crush is this girl, although I don't think it's completely true because she's older than him and they barely know each other... Whenever he touches me... I... I don't know what to do, so I just always ignore it, but today, he kind of was like stroking my leg a lot, so I just instinctively snapped my face to look at his hand and he quickly retired it, like he hadn't touched it on purpose. I didn't comment on it and neither did he. So, does anyone know, what's going on? I'm so lost...
