How do I make my boyfriend wash his junk better?

Okay so i love my man but I have noticed a foul fishy type smell coming from his nether regions like when he re adjusts it or whoops it out... its so bad. He isn't too good with taking long enough showers and isn't the cleanest person but he got better for a while after telling him one minute showers dont cut it. Now we havnt seen each other for a few weeks he has reverted back to old habits it seems and i can't bare to be around him because the smell makes me queazy. Its not his jizz but im guessing he just isn't washing his junk right. How do i tell him in a nice wau that he needs to be more thorough when in the shower without hurting his feelings as he already has low self esteem? Im pretty sure everyone else can smell it too.

If it's especially pungent, it might not be that he's not washing properly. He might have a minor fungal infection. Like athlete's foot, his "junk" is in a place where the sun does not often shine. If one wears tight underwear, and one's junk becomes hot and sweaty from daily activity, it's easy to get funky by the time the afternoon rolls around. I advise pinpointing the source of his "junk funk".

The best time would be while he's sleeping, as he won't notice you sniffing around his junk and won't lose any esteem that way. (Sarcasm alert: I was joking. I do not advise molesting your boyfriend while sleeping.) Just talk to him about it. Tell him you like his dick, but the smell is a big turn off. If he knows that you want him (just not stinky) I think he'll be OK.

I'd advise getting him some cream, changing to loose fitting boxers (that will help him to keep his junk dry), and maybe seeing a doctor if it's serious, or if you (plural) want something stronger than OTC medication.

By the way, you're right. It's not your responsibility to clean his junk for him.

You can talk to him about it and still be sensitive about it since he has low self esteem. Voice you love him and want to help, and you don't know how else to bring it up but the smell is hard for you to handle and you don't want to let it affect the sex. It helps to say it's normal to have a smell but sometimes not enough washing can worsen it for any of us and some just sweat more so it's a bit harder to keep up.
