Why are guys interested in me all of a sudden?

Okay... Ever since I've been at university, all of these random guys from my high school have started messaging me. I've had at least 5 guys ask me if I was single or if I wanted to "hangout". I am smart (i was valedictorian) and decently attractive; I play competitive sports and my personality doesn't entirely suck. What I don't understand is why now. Why are they suddenly--seemingly out of the blue-- showing interest? I have never had a boyfriend and I've kissed a guy maybe once or twice in my life; literally no one (that I was aware of) was interested in me in high school. What the f*ck...

My best guess would be that because it is college and there is (at least I think) less peer pressure. Since they are in a completely new environment and won't be judged by at least as many of their high school friends, many of them may have just never had enough courage to ask you to hang out. Overall, I would say it would be that you and the guys that like you are in an environment that is completely different from what you're used to. The guys that like you also may have been shy and have 'came out of their shell' from when you knew them in high school, because guys stereotypically aren't supposed to show much of any emotions.

Assuming that the first semester at your university is over for you and those guy friends, those guys prob were surround or influenced by people around them to get horny and then they remembered you and yep. Partying and etc and one day they check their social media and saw a post about you and remembered and now they are hitting u up.

it may be that the people at your old school just never took an interest in you that happened to one guy i knew when he transferred he was getting hit on left and right whereas our school he was a snobby stuck up douchebag who never showered i wouldn't complain if that's what your doing though just pick out of your options
