Is he purposely not coming online?

I messaged this guy asking if he's on campus. We got into a bit of a heated argument yesterday, and I just thought we should clear the air because it was super-awkward today.

It's been like 2 hours and he's not online (he usually is), or checked it.

I think he just wants me to go awy.

Yeah I think he purposely isn't coming online to avoid you. When he cools down and gets over it im assuming he will talk to you again.

He apparently checked it but didn't come oblind until the end of the day AND he didn't reply.

That sucks he didn't reply. I think he is still mad. Give him space and time. I hope he doesn't hold it against you.
