Because they put getting their dick wet over their love and respect for the woman who's given up her body to house and feed a fetus into infancy before giving the parasite a good shove out of her magical baby door which is indefinitely going to tear the shit out of her down there and make her too sensitive to fuck for the next couple months. Basically because he's a douche. My sister's husband was found with a hooker while she was in labor. Let's just say I don't have any respect for douchebags like this.

Same reasons as always, honestly. Loneliness, horniness, lack of affection or attention. Opportunity and willingness. Pregnancy can potentially accentuate the physical deficiencies. Also the wife can start to seem like more of a mom than a partner (the old madonna and whore dichotomy).

I read somewhere that most guys who cheat do so during pregnancy... That's so messed up. If it's true, it's disgusting, like she's changing her whole body and going through so much physically and he can't even just wait it out til she feels a little better?
But still, majority of my guy friends I spoke to about it when I read it were kinda shocked and disgusted by men doing that while a girl is pregnant for him. So it's not really a "man" thing, more a disgusting really indecent man thing.

I know a man who said he couldn't take not having sex. He said he was lonely and horny. Men really do put up with a lot of hormone spikes and craziness, although I tint confine it I kind of feel bad for some men. I know a lot of pregnant women push their partners away

It's a total dick move. But, I've had a couple of my married friends confide in me that they did it. And what they each had in common was difficulty getting pregnant, so lots and lots of sex. But once the babies came their wives basically stopped cold turkey. Which is normal after delivery "dear god most of us understand". But for whatever reason their wives didn't value sex the same and they felt neglected.

Those that do, probably cheated before.

Those that do for the first time, the distance in the relationship is likely a factor.

I have three kids, through those three pregnancies, my wife wanted to be sexual in any way a grand total of twice.

I didn't cheat, but i'm maybe glad no women outright hit on me during those times.
