Why does my male friend/co workers face light up when he sees me?

The last couple times he saw me it's like his face lit up. He was coming down the hall with a big smile on his face looking at me. Does this mean anything?
P. S.-He hadn't seen me in a couple weeks each time he did this.

Could be. He may just be a happy person so seeing a friend makes him smile
