Why did he stop replying me on Tinder all of a sudden?

So i matched with a guy at my school, he started messaging me on the app and we messaged back and forth heaps of times with each text being like paragraphs, so not short at all. All of a sudden he stopped replying but replied after like a week saying that he was busy. I asked him why he started up the convo again and he said he felt that we got along really well and I said I thought so too. A few more messages down the line he stopped replying for good and now it's been several months since my last text. Why do you think he stopped though, coz as he said, we got along pretty well. Also he hasn't unmatched me yet although it's been months. And throughout the convo i admit i wondered why he never asked for my number or to meet up although obviously i never asked either...

Lol girls do this a lot to guys. Ask girls why they do this to guys who they used to talk to a lot and then stop replying all of a sudden. The answer would be the interest disappeared, which is the same reason for the guy who you talked to. Found a "better match" for himself I suppose.

that crossed my mind but weird that he didn't unmatch though. i know i personally have stopped talking after a long convo with someone cos i didn't know if he was simply talking without any intention to meet, so i just gave up

Several MONTHS since last message? He found someone else, I suspect. Question I have is why, months later, it matters? You all never even met up. Shake it loose and find someone worth worrying about.
