How can I feel better if I'm not my boyfriend's "type"?

He likes busty, slim girls with big butts and hot faces (what guy doesn't anyway).

I have a plain face, I'm slim, small boobs and small ass. He says he's with me because of personality and rarely compliments me on looks unless I make a huge effort. But he's also admitted he checks out other women and even considers them hotter than me.

I can't help but feel inadequate and ugly, especially knowing the type he likes best through his celebrity crushes or porn collection, and also because of the few times I've caught him staring at these type of girls when we go out. He's out with his friends now and I'm sure he's drooling himself dry with all the ogling he must be doing, especially if he's with all guys.

I feel really ugly, especially 'cause guys hardly look at me when I'm out in favor of busty, slim girls with big butts and hot faces =(

I guess the question should be how to deal with being a plain Jane, unattractive and unnoticeable? =(

Well, if you keep thinking like this, then of course he's going to find it hard to find you attractive when even you don't. True, a lot of guys like those type of girls, but realistically, it's not like there's one for every guy, so he shoud learn to appreciate you more.

Think of it this way, YOU have such a good personality, that it outranks those good looking girls because he chose to be with YOU. Beauty eventually fades, but personality is something to stick with. To be in a relationship, there must be an emotional connection. Looks like he's alrady pretty connected to you like that. It's just physical attraction he has for those other girls, and really, that is pretty weak compared to emotionally.

If it really bothers you, then do try to make more of an effort. And if making an effort makes your boyfriend happy, then that should make you happy too! Just don't over do it and change your physical appearance into something you're not comfortable with.

But those girls don't have to make an effort, they have huge boobs popping out and some barely wear make up and look good, and he'll look, whereas I have to really spend time on make up for him to notice.

So what? You're still the he's with. Let's face it, pretty girls make all of us turn heads. If you're really that uncomforable with the way your boyfriend thinks you look, you should just talk to him about it. Maybe he can comfort you and reassure you. I'm sure much better than any of us can!

Just because you are not HIS type does not mean that you are unattractive. If you feel unattractive make some small changes to make yourself feel sexier. Work out, buy lingerie.. stuff like that. You have to exude sexy first before anyone will see you as sexy.

Sorry dear, but your boyfriend sounds like a jerk. There is no reason he should be checking out chicks in front of you. And then, if that wasn't bad enough, openly comparing you to them! I know that it isn't rational to think boyfriends will never check out others girls (they will), but that is terribly disrespectful. Dump his ass, work on your self esteem, and find someone that deserves your awesome personality and sexiness.

I’m not really sure what advice to give because I’m going through the EXACT same thing as you. I literally have the same body type and everything. In fact, last night I just learned my boyfriend also like tall girls and I’m petite in every way. I’ve been trying so hard to get bigger breasts and a bigger butt. I mean how am I supposed to change my height? I know exactly how you feel about other girls not having to try at all and just looking hot naturally. Everyone always refers to me as “cute”. No one is attracted to cute though, so it depresses me.

it's all about attitude, make yourself feel a little better by maybe making more of an effort, but also he sounds like a pig, so dump him if you feel he ain't worth it, but if he likes your personality, just make more of an effort to look better. Also just try and be more confident, and think of it this way, he chose you over all those other girls.

you should not put up with a guy who makes you feel that way about yourself. the right guy is one that doesn't make you feel inadequate and would be more sensitive to your feelings. no one likes to feel that way. if you stay with a guy who talks like that you must have low self esteem don't be a weak girl and actually do what's best for you, which is not be with a guy who tells you that he checks out girls that are hotter than you. wtf how can you date and sleep with a guy who compares you to other women and tells you things like that? don't you think you deserve better than that? the guy is obviously a jerk and disrespectful I don't get the advice telling her to "dress up more" um way to be a weak bitch lol what you need to do is find a guy who doesn't treat you that way.

The fact that he is your boyfriend proves you are in fact his type.

He wouldn't be with you if he didn't find you attractive, both physically and personality-wise. He may admit that other women are hotter than you, but he's not involved with them, he's not in a relationship with them, like you are.

If you can't help feeling like you're not good enough to be with him, you need to let him know that you need to know that you're beautiful in his eyes. You need to be honest with him and say what you're feeling, that you feel inadequate and ugly. I'm certain if he knew this, he would be very quick to disagree, because he is your boyfriend, and if he's a good one, he would understand that his behavior hasn't been upstanding.

You could always try some minor tweaking to your appearance. A new haircut, maybe some highlights, wearing makeup, dressing nicer, a push-up bra, and some killer confidence will make you 10x hotter than any other girl your man looks at.

see, no matter how hotttt I girl might look, if she's all silly in her head then that can be a total turn off for a guy in the long run!...
