Overconfident women=turnoff?

I've recently read that overconfident women can be a turnoff to men. Well I'm curious as to what you guys would consider "overconfident"...please share your thoughts :)

i'm not sure if "overconfident" is even a real thing. There's real confidence and then there is cockiness/conceitedness. That extreme is not attractive not matter what sex you are. Confident women are very attractive. What you read may have been referring to either women who are conceited or in regard to the fact that men want to care for a woman but if she is really confident he may find it difficult to do so (being that she is so independent, etc.) and have her notice.

Very true. I'm not sure if its just around here or everywhere, but it seems to be the "party girls" that are the most cocky.

For me, I'm sort of shy when it comes to girls so yeah really confident girls make me withdraw even more. not sure what it is, maybe they'll see that I'm not like them? idk

but for "normal" guys, I think it would just depend. I'm sure it would still get to a lot of guys because its like she could live without him, which makes him wonder if he should even bother with her.

Wow both very good points. in your opinion is a woman asking a man for his number being overconfident?

No I don't think that's too much. actually it would be a relief because it means that I don't have to guess whether she likes me enough to talk to me. I think I'm not the best example for this question though haha

no such thing to be overconfident just don't cross the boundry line to "snobby" cause that's the biggest turnoff

It might come of as masculine or a bit like a guy, no one really wants a boyish gf
