Getting winked at as a cashier?

So basically I work in a grocery store and I'd say I'm attractive, but the point is that guys that at my register wink at me a lot? Basically when someone's comes up to your register greets you and simultaneously winks at you... When older men (60+) do it, It's most definitely a way of greeting someone. But recently I noticed a lot of guys of my age are doing the same, and I haven't seen a single girl do this...

Should I just see their winking as a non-verbal greeting or interpret it differently?

Well that's interesting because at my local store there's this cashier that always winks at me. It doesn't help the fact that I'm 15 and she's like 20.
Honestly, I think you should just ignore it. Most likely trying to hit on you or something. I personally don't know anyone who winks as a form of greeting.
