Guys, would you be mad if your girl side-hugged another guy?

If she told you that a coworker came up to her and gave her a hug so she hugged him from the side (meaning with only one arm-no touching of the front or anything). Would you get very mad?
If you expect her to reject another guy's hug, how would you suggest she does so without being awkward? If a guy gets extremely mad about this, would you consider it normal?

If my man told me that a girl hugged him and he didn't stop it, I would get jealous but I don't think I would be very angry at him because he is not the one who initiated it and maybe he wouldn't know how to push away the hug. Also, the way I see it is that a hug can be with just friendly intentions too. But I do understand being bothered by it. Girls can answer with experience too!

I'd be jealous because I'm very possessive of my girlfriend, I wouldn't be angry with her though and would understand, specially if she told me, if it happened infront of me and I felt like it was more than a hug or had more meaning behind it I would make sure to confront him. I think if I knew the guy it'd also make it a bit more acceptable, knowing how close they could be and such. I'd understand either way though, would probably just want to give her more affection and want her to give me more affection for a bit afterwards, to make me feel more important to her.

I ask because it happened with me, the coworker just started hugging me so I just put one arm around and gave a quick hug from the side without touching in front of course and it was just friendly. I told him just to tell him while we were texting and he got really really mad. I understood getting jealous but I felt bad and I didn't mean anything by it, but I wouldn't have known how to reject the hug.

You shouldn't be shy of confrontation. Specially if your boyfriend is possessive, although your boyfriend should also be understanding and trusting of you, without trust then a relationship can't really work out. You should tell him it meant nothing and didn't know how to say no, if he can't forgive you for it then he's being a child and also needs to speak his mind about the topic as well as be reasonable and understand your point of view. Just give him affection and say you're sorry, bring it up another time without any emotions to just discuss it.

For me to be in a relationship ship to begin with, that means I have to trust you a lot. So, I wouldn't mind. I trust you I know you know what you're doing. I wouldn't tell you what to do.
