My crush touched my hand?👀 And he always touches my stuff? please help explain?

Okay so one day I was asking a question to one of my group members and my crush apparently was trying to get my attention and he reached out and touched my hand, ( he knows my name) Why didn't he call my name? Say anything? Was the touching of my hand casual? The same day I was ofc talking again to my friend and I noticed he was watching me and he reached out and touched my arm to get my attention bcz he wanted to ask me a question ( there's a girl that sits next to him he could have asked) Why did he ask me when he could have asked her? There was this other time when I was joking around with one of my good friends and my crush who sits right next to me just out of no where was like " is this yr pencil" I turned and noticed that he was looking very intently at this green pencil and he was playing with it ( he didn't look at me when he asked this question) and I was like no and from there he looked up and carried on the conversation. Why didn't he look at me when he asked? Or when I answered his question? Why was he looking at the pencil so hard?😂(From that day on why every day in class he takes my pencil and plays with it and he's usually a pretty loud guy)

So much question XD. Ok -take a deep breath- He might have think of calling or he called your name but you were busy talking that you might not/ didn't hear him so he touched you (which can be considered as flirting). He didn't asked her because he wanted to ask it to you (meaning he is interested in you not with the girl next to him). For the green pencil there is two option:
1. He knew the pencil wasn't yours but wanted to start a convo with you.
2. The pencil was kind of a gift that's why he was looking at it like that.
And finally he takes your thing cause he likes you but don't know how to do it so he showed it in an awkward way. Boys/girls tend to become shy with the person they like even if they are open with other people. -breath out and mumble- next time ima die if you ask more queation like that.

Sounds like he likes you but is just too shy and afraid to make eye contact and to speak to you so he prefers to shows his affection through actions.
