Alright so my best guy friend (who has a crush on me) pats my leg a lot and he always touches my arm. What does that mean? And he is always trying to make me laugh and I even caught him reading my text message the other day. What does all this mean?

sometimes I see questions that interest me enough to click on them

other times I see questions that are completely stupid or uninteresting or relevant to me so I avoid them.

but occasionally I come across a question like this where the question asker has obviously done one of two things.

1. tried to get attention by posting a bullsh*t question where the answer is written within the f***ing description

2.so oblivious to the world of common sense that they couldn't piece "crush" "always touching" and "best friend" together...

ffs he likes you daft/ obnoxious (pick as appropiate) mare! of course he's going to be touching you, that's what you do when you like someone isn't it?

He still hasn't given up on you and likes you enough to keep trying. as long as you don't back off, he will keep doing it and keep trying.

if you like him then go for it.

Why is he touching me?

Probably because he wants to f*ck you since he has a crush on you he's physically/sexually attracted to you and most guys tend to want to touch the gal they're attracted to.

What does all this mean?

Likely it means he's trying to get you sexually interested in him so he can f*ck you and checking on your phone to see if there's competition.

I know that when I like someone, I would often read their messages over as well.

Of course as a best friend he would like to make you laugh too.

Well the touching is obviously just because he has the crush on you. Its perfectly normal and there is nothing wrong. However he reads your texts because he is jealous of other guys maybe talking to you. Again that natural and fine BUT to read your message is wrong. Thsi crosses lines and invades your privacy.

To me, the touching and trying to make you laugh is a sign that he is interested in you and is trying to get your attention in that area.

I think him reading your messages is also a sign that he may be seeing who you're talking to, to see if there are any guys that you're into for more than just a friendship.

He's basically showing you affection, and trying to suss whether or not you've got any love interests on the go to see if you're romantically available.
