If a guy is very observant about you does that mean he likes you?

I have a work colleague that looks at me a lot... and recently I was shocked when he revealed he knew my middle name and that I have a tattoo on my lower back. When I asked how he knew that he said he's observant. Would a guy bother if he didn't like you?

It may not necessary mean he has feelings for you, but at least some part of him is interested or attracted to you otherwise we normally won't really notice these tiny things. Like sure if we are observant we take notes in our heads not on purpose and our memory just plays it back randomly one day if we so happen to talk about it, but otherwise some part of the guy has to be interested in you to notice those stuff.

It might just be the way he is, observant, but you say he looks at you a lot and knows other things about you also, so chances are he's interested in you.

it seems he likes you but as for the the tattoo part being on your lower back how did he even see that? if you were bending and he saw that or some thing i wouldn't think good of it because it shows where his eyes are wondering lower...
