If a guy is attentive to you, does that mean he likes you, or is it just a “nice guy” thing?

By attentive I mean listening to every thing I say (even if I’m talking with someone else), and checking on my needs often—

seeing if I need something to drink, bringing me a napkin without me asking/mentioning, moving things closer for me to reach without me asking… etc.

sometimes it felt like he anticipates my needs before they even arise. Is this just nice guy behavior or is it someone who is interested?

I mean he seems like a nice person... What do you mean by nice guy? Do you mean someone whose nice but is disingenuous and is only doing it for something more or someone whose legitimately a nice person? Are you ungrateful? Are you nice in return?

I mean is it kindness a guy would show to everyone, or would he only pay that much attention to someone he was attracted to? I am nice in return, though maybe not AS attentive as he was because to me it was more than “normal”

It depends. Yeah If I like someone I would say I might go out of my way a bit more for her then I would someone else. But if something feels... Off or disingenuous go with your gut feeling could be God giving you a warning.

That kind of thing could go either way. I'm attentive to everyone, regardless of my feelings toward them.
