How to know if a guy likes you or he’s just being nice?

I am very oblivious when guys are flirting with me. And I don’t try to make something out of nothing so I don’t know when or if a guy is flirting at all.
And some women count men being a gentleman or chilvery as flirting which turns into something way different.

Honestly I wouldn't know, because I do my best to be ''just'' nice and polite but every now and then there's a woman who thinks I like her.
That said, I think that one should look about the consistency of a guy's kindness and nice action - ie he's being nice and kind because it's situational - as in, he does things because it's common courtesy - and if he does them just for one girl, or for everyone. Also, look if he takes constant interest or not - that's usually a telltale sign of a guy liking a girl.

It can be tricky at times to tell. Google how guys flirt and see if he does any of that with you. Like touching your shoulder/thigh/back. Last, if he doesn’t ask you out or for your number at some point, he was just being nice
