Why do some guys become so incredibly nasty after being rejected? & Girls what are your experiences?

I've lost count at the amount of times they've lashed out on me or starting to spread false rumours and just being incredibly petty and hostile in general, like they want some kind of revenge just for not liking them or responding to them (despite giving a warning that I won't respond). And then blows up even more when I say they are being petty... (yes I've stopped telling them that now, just makes shit worse)

What do they even get out of it? And girls I'd like to know your experiences.

most "nice" (and i use that term facetiously) guys can't handle rejection and would rather blame you than take any responsibility themselves.

when i first started dating online, i had a guy ask me for my fb and phone #. i told him no (since i never give that info to someone i've just met anyway), and he responded with "well, you're obviously a fake bitch if you can't take such a basic next step".

dude, i don't know you. we've never met, and we've exchanged all of 2 messages... if you think for even one second that you're somehow entitled to my trust, you're out of your gourd.

i read an article once that said: "a man's worst fear is that his online date will be fat; a woman's worst fear is that her date will be violent and kill her." and, when guys like the one i encountered threaten and insult us for rejecting them, that fear is definitely justified.

Most losers can't take rejection. This has only happened to me once. The guy walked up to me and asked for my number, I told him I had a boyfriend and he got really upset and called me a bitch.

Many people handle rejection poorly - men and women alike.

Rejection sucks. You have to take a risk and put your feelings out there and be vulnerable, only to be told "no, thanks." It's harsh. And for guys, many are shy or lack confidence, and VERY RARELY ask a girl out. I personally know guys who are lucky to ask out one woman every couple of years. So when you put all your eggs in a single basket, it's hard not to get upset when someone breaks them all.

I'm not excusing their behavior - of course it's wrong and unacceptable, but I'm trying to give you a bit of their perspective. In most cases, the anger and bile is them trying to hide from the pain of rejection, and shouldn't really be taken seriously. They're hurt, and lashing out, but the person they REALLY don't like is themselves.

To answer your question: they don't know how to handle rejection. Probably insecure guys who take it as an insult that you're rejecting them.
Also, some girls do reject in a pretty stuck up way, like if they're superior to them. Not saying that's what you do, but there's girl that do do that, and it's quite disrespectful. Not saying you gotta be rude to them too, but still I could understand some guys getting pissed if they get rejected that way.
But in general, it's because they don't know how to handle rejection.

Yeah, I've noticed some girls doing that too. To be honest I'd feel too guilty rejecting someone too harshly and even then it still happens anyway when Im being polite. 😅

ever have a day where nothing goes right? well, thats how a guy feels when he gets rejected over and over, he starts getting burnt out and when a girl says no or friendzones him he feels being nice is pointless because nice guys always strike out. And they do... he's just lashing out in frustration. kinda like if you get short with your loved ones after a bad day where nothing goes right. it doesn't mean he isn't genuinely nice or that he's fake, he's just frustrated that once again, he is rejected. It's psychological. Our brains have to satisfy our drive (an intense "need") for love/romance and we act like that when we get rejected because that drive hasn't been "reduced" (as it's called, I don't know why we don't just say "satisfied" smh).
