If a guy stops talking to his friend mid-sentence when he sees you does he like you?

I mean... this guy he doesn't really display very strong signs of liking me. Like he didn't even know my last name. But he just seems like someone who doesn't overthink.

Anyways I saw him once while I was walking and he stopped talking mid-sentence. I narrowed my eyes at him playfully and walked away.

Yeah but does that mean he likes me? He hadn't seen me in a very long time so he might have just been surprised. Plus, I think the last time he saw me we didn't have a pleasant encounter so he might be like... ah

I don't think so. He is good with women, he's tall, good-looking, nice eyes.

If he wanted to talk to a girl, he would know how to. In fact I remember him once flirting with me saying I should wear a towel. Realizing my momentarily stunned face, he said, I mean not JUST a towel (flirty smile), a skirt underneath.

I never really thought he liked me, more that he knew I was attractive and shy and just liked flirting around. He did have really nice eyes that boy.
