What does it mean when a guy who said he likes you ask if your friends?

I've been talking to this guy for a couple of months I know we’re not dating. But he also flirts with me call me babe and ask if i won't to makeout. But over thankgivng he had an injury at work and told me he wouldn't be able to call or text that often. We went four days without talking he eventualy reached out apoligizng saying he was and that he missed me. But a couple of days ago I mailed him cups he brought from me because I work at a coffee company. And his mom recieved the package and ask he sent it and he told her my friend sent them she really nice. He then called and asked me are we friends? So now I'm confused he also 7 years older than me and we live in different states. And he also doesn't want to FaceTime me anymore but call me everyday.

So I haven't heard from him since he ask me if we were still friends and now he just stalking my IG stories but he won't text me or call me

There is something definitely fishy about that guy. He seems to pretend to be someone that he is not in reality.

The way I see it is that he is trying to wiggle his way into your life and making you believe that you are special to him.

This would be the typical approach of someone that has lewd intentions. Pretending to be friends is the first step toward trying to get more out of your than just friendship.

Also, what is very disturbing is his age. Seven years older is quite a difference and that would make him well into his thirties. I am not convinced about his true intentions and I would be more than just careful. He seems to be a player.

Sounds like he is trying to be a player and is probably doing this with many girls when he is broke! Probably does not have nice clothes to FaceTime or something else that gives him away! That he is not like his profile pics.

I told him we were just friends after I said that he started acting weird and yesterday he asked if we were friends.

Yes I’m 20 and he's 27 He also always says I'm probably talking to a-lot of guys. and asks me if i like every guy I talk to. my friends all say he's probably insecure because I look out of his league and thats why he’s overcompensating
and then pulling back. But I don't care about just looks I care about personality more.
