If a guy's friend asks if you like his friend, what does that mean?

I was at a party yesterday, and one of his friends started asking me if i talk to "bob" or if i was currently texting him. When I said "not really", he started to ask "Why" and then asked if i "ever see him". And when i said i see him once a week, he's like "that's it?" and then was like "i thought something was going on between you two" and i had no words. I really don't know whats going on between this guy and i, he's shy but he will come up to me and say hi and makes a lot of eye contact but we dont text, and we made out a few months ago and since that happened the air between us is different.

Should i just ask the guy about this ordeal?

There are many cases to that. I can't give you precisely what ur looking for but I can give some choices. he may be into you but he's shy. Talk to him.. let him open to you I guess its always a best way... or maybe you could just wait and see whats gonna happen. I don't know if my answer helps cause i dont think so... hope it does though..
