This guy likes me but I really like his friend I’ve only hung out with once. help?

So I got this new job and this guy I had a couple classes with in high school so happens to work there too. in high school this guy was really into me but I rejected him because I’m not attracted to him at all. So I’ve been seeing him around work and he’s been making an effort to talk to me and I am just trying to be friends with him because I don’t like him that way. So the other day he invited me to go to the park and get drunk with him and a few other coworker friends of his and I agreed because I never get out and the other people going seemed really cool. But I definitely would not have agreed to just hanging out with this guy alone because I had kind of noticed him creeping on me. I thought he would know I just wanna be friends because I had rejected him before and why would he assume that but he’s been hitting on me. Anyway that night we went and got drunk and ran through the sprinklers and it was a really fun time besides the guy trying to make moves on me. That made me really uncomfortable. But I met this really cool dude who he is friends with and I can’t stop thinking of him. We have the same taste in music and other interests and he’s really funny and we were about to make the same joke a couple times. I even caught him looking at me a few times and then he looked away when I saw him and he caught me doing the same thing too. and I felt like every time we made eye contact it was kind of intense for some reason. I am really attracted to him and I don’t know if he feels the same way but I don’t really get rejected all that often so maybe I should just take the chance. I don’t have him on any social media or anything so I don’t know if I should just ask this girl we were also hanging with for his number or something or if that’s too forward and I should just try to hang out with them again through the guy who likes me. Yeah so any advice on what to do would be great I don’t want to look weird and forward but I also really want to get to know him better.

You mat want to do this in a proper manner. If it were me, I would meet with the first one and make it clear it is friendship. Give it a couple weeks plus... Then his buddy... You three are probably going to be around one another. there is no need for unnecessary tension.

Oh yeah and the guy I like just got a new job so we won’t be working together anymore and even the one I don’t like works in a whole other department. And I think a couple weeks is too long to wait
