This song is really good (his best solo song up to now imo) and the MV is one of the most symbolic I've evers seen. There's a whole story beeing told (I looked up some of itand some of it I interpreted myself but it's a really great MV and even if you don't know the meaning the shots are very artistic and expressive.) about the life of the artist and there's even many references to a MV that came out 4 years before this!! And the references were almost like planned from the beginning but I don't know if that was the case. I think this MV is so awesome. The guy is wearing makeup but he's one of the most bold or crazy people when it comes to fashion or style he changes it every second it seems and always goes to extremes ^^.
While I'm at it I can promote another group that I like ^^ I used to only like girl groups in kpop in the beginning and I still like girl groups more and more of them. But I also like some of the guy groups now. This is my second favorit guy group. This MV is also awesome. I love it so much because you can see the city in the back and it looks amaziiing. I wanna go there one day so I think it's cool ^^. The idea of the MV is cool in general.
I kinda drifted off but I like Kpop and for me they're the only ones where guys can pull off makeup and even there I think a lot of them can't or it's too much or whatever In general I'm no in favor ^^.
As performers some of them use it well but I just don't think a regular guy should use it. It's weird to me ^^. I don't even care about clothes so it's just very foreign to me to care that much about my looks. And I'm very comfortable with my body and like it the way it is so I don't need it.
Well, there's a big difference between red lipstick and a pore minimizing gel.
Would I like it my boyfriend went full glam like mua youtubers. No.
Would I care if he used products to make his acne scars less visible, even out dark circles, or minimize pores? No.
I love the fact there is safe make up that can help me feel better about my skin, I wouldn't be mad if he wanted to use it to his advantage. As long as it's not cakey, go for it.
Lots of male celebrities wear makeup and some people don't know this or they have the excuse "because they are a celebrity." They are still male and I didn't know makeup was only for celebrities. Any makeup whether being foundation, a little lip tint, maybe some eyeshadow that's not like BAM with color is totally fine and if it's to enhance your looks like women do, I don't see why not. There's also a thing called guys looking hot in eyeliner soooooo
Because makeup enhances features we think of as feminine. Foundation makes skin look smoother.. blush to make your cheeks rosier.. mascara/eyeliner to make eyes look bigger and doe-ish.
We want guys with the inversion of those features. It's the balance between nasculine and feminine.
Totally agree but tell it to ones here who says there is nothing wrong about a man wearing a make up cause that does not mean they look like a woman, Yeah right, unless you are gay is different.
i think men don't use makeup to do gender archetypes that have been set up. the standard of beauty of attraction of a man is less that he has a perfect face but perhaps more so that he rugged. obviously women want men to be attractive but the standard for male beauty isn't quite the same so that men need to use makeup
We used to wear makeup for an Ice show. Some woman in the show would put it on me, because I couldn't figure it out myself. If you didn't, you would look like a ghost when the lights were on you. Sometimes they would put too much rouge on you, and then you would look like a pumpkinhead.
It is only tradition and culture, many years ago actors were considered low trash because they wore makeup. Of course these days some gay and goth guys wear makeup, but it is unusual for guys who claim to be str8 to wear makeup. Theoretically there is no reason logically why any person should not wear makeup if they want to, it is only the social normal that restricts it.
Makeup began as a thing made for men.. I believe it originated in ancient Egypt, but I may be wrong.. Anyway.. The general consensus nowadays, is that men don't need it. But really, who's stopping you, if you want to wear makeup. :3

I thinks people should be allowed to wear what they wants to and people are difference with difference tastes. I thinks it's fine if guys wears makeup, but I thinks most of them looks better without. But when it comes to my dating preferences, I would prefer my partner without makeup. Makeup is messy, especially when the person is sweating and that applies to both genders. In addition makeup is hiding the person's natural looks.
We do, but it's just not as noticeable as women's make-up. Watch TV and you'll see that most of the men on TV and in movies wear make-up. We're just better at wearing it than women. Because we're basically better at everything. I bet if we wanted to we could dominate the lingerie and soap opera business too.
men are free if i love a guy i won't mind if he likes to wear what he likes and put what he likes but just one thing the charming of men is because they are opposite of us women they complete us so if my man would be same as me the magic would fade away and the attraction
Meh, I dunno, I guess guys just aren't confident enough to use it. I don't think I'd particularly mind if it was just concealer and stuff. Not sure about lipstick and mascara every day though I do know my partner looks good in red lipstick 😂
Fuck yeah, I'd date a guy who wears makeup. It could be anything from a little concealer and eyeliner to full on bright lipstick, blush, eyeshadow, etc. Whatever he wants.
I'd like it. I like expressiveness and artistic, colourful people. Doesn't matter how dull we are behind it; make-up is a form of self-expression.
I don't buy into the whole "we MUST BE OPPOSITE" thing. We should be companions and similar of soul and personality. That included gentleness and artsy tendencies to me. I don't care if someone sees it as unmanly. It can look nice.
Why I need a man to loo like a girl anyway? Men are men and women are women, in that department. Unless you are acting in some theater play or in a movie wearing make up is accepotable but on a regular day no way jose, they look like sissies
Because they get made fun of. Some still do, I wouldn't really mind if I was dating someone and they wore a bit of makeup, as long as it was natural looking lol.
they can wore it it's just i don't think lot of women would date them... personally I wouldn't date a guys with make up and if I had a son I would never allow him to wore it either.

@kitty71 That's your opinion Kitty, don't get worked up over mine lol. Make up doesn't make anyone look like a woman, most singers and actors wear makeup on screen and they look amazing and manly. If it helps him feel good about himself and I'm still attracted to him I don't see a reason not to support it.
I mean if they are actors and entertainers and musical group singers doing a show is different but if he is a regular dude who likes to wear make up, No way. He is a man andhe has to act on it not look like a woman, especially if he looks like this
