Girls: do you like persistent or nonpersistent?

Hi

I was just wondering do girls like persistent guys that just won't give up asking her out or they like the ones who ask once and if she says not he wouldn't ask

I mean you do 90% and you expect 10% from her, If I don't see that 10% I think she is not interested and move on. (that doesn't apply in bed lol)

That's really hard to say for most girls I think. Others have covered the fact that sometimes we just feel like we have to get to know the guy better, so that's one thing to think about. You also need to know what her other relationships are like; if she just got out of a relationship, if she's talking to a few people, if she's very closed off or very flirty, all those things are factors.

But I know you're asking personally, so... most of the time when I said no to guys, it was either because I was scared of the commitment or I didn't feel like I knew him well enough. I was wary of saying yes to a guy if I felt like he didn't know the real me, because it was like he was only judging me by what he saw. I wanted someone who was interested in really knowing me.

Persistence has generally paid off with me; the more time you spend on me, the more trusting I am of you and your intentions. I'm just a pretty cautious person, so yeah, persistence was what really helped me choose the right guy :p

Sometime presistance pays off but be careful not to come off stalker crazy. My guy kept showing up around me like he towed my brothers care(meeting) then he showed up to ask my dad to borrow a tool then he kept showing up in my fav hangout then the showed up at the country fair and asked me when I was going to let him take me out. He gave me his card with his number and I kept it for 2 months before I gave him the time of day. After he gave me his card he stopped coming over when I saw him and I found I missed that so I callled. We'regetting married next year my story good luck to you.

I want a guy who shows interest and tries to win the girl. My boyfriend waited for me, even though he wanted to date right away. After awhile, I realized I wanted to be with him so I gave him more attention. I think the guy should give the 90%, it proves to the girl that he's really interested. And girls enjoy that attention, (most girls). However the man shouldn't do all the work, we should work also! And if the girl doesn't, it's obvious the girl is not ineterested. Hope that helps

If I meet a girl randomly and hold a good conversation, I'll ask for her digits and tell her 'Was great talking to you, I'd like to do it again sometime". (It's of best interest that she does, I'm an interesting guy).

But when a girl doesn't want to give me her phone number, I'll wish her goodnight and walk away nice and easy. Too bad for her. I'm not desperate and I don't like chasing hard. And if some girls 'test' me to see how persistent I am in getting together with her again, they'll realize that I'm the one that needs to be caught, not them.

I'm an assertive good guy, who's calm and laid back. And I don't need the drama in playing a girl's game just because she needs assurance that I really like her and want her badly.

Sorry I'm not a female, just figured I'd drop my view on how I work.

I don't think a guy should have to ask a girl out over and over. I do agree guys should ask a girl out but if you have taken time to talk to the girl and it isn't coming out of the clear blue sky when you ask her for a date, she should be able to answer you then and not expect you to continue to pursue her.

I guess the only issue would be whether the girl just did not know you well and was uncomfortable saying yes. In that case if would be good to take the time to allow her to get to know you better so that she would feel comfortable saying yes.

There is a fine line between persistence and stalker-status, lol. Some guys in nightclubs can make girls very uncomfortable if they are pushy about getting your number.

persistence pays off only given the fact that the receiver accepts the persistence. we are drenched in the world of men loving porn and women loving romance that we forgot to be honest with our feelings.

guys, if a girl is playing mind games with you, such as you flirting and she not showing or accepting your advances, move on. but every guy is different and meeting girls should each be different. therefore, thick skin is needed.

Um, persistent. But not to much, because otherwise I would definitely be uncomfortable. But sometimes I need the chance to see into the guy more, so if, even though I said no the first time he ask me out, he asked me once more I could have maybe changed my mind. But then with a non persistent, I would feel like I made a bad choice by saying no. (Unless I really didn't like the guy.)

If I said no once there's a pretty good chance I'm gonna say no again.  Some guys seem to think that if we say no we're just testing them so we can see how much they really want us while 95% of the time that's not the case.  No means no, no doesn't mean come back later and see if I've changed my mind, especially if you're some random guy at a bar, that's when no means no and if you don't take the hint you're probably gonna get embarrassed in front of all your friends.

I'd say persistent but not too persistent that it's creepy. One guy friend I know kept being persistent all the time and even letting her know it too and it eventually creeped her out. I'd say show signs of flirtations don't let her know it by telling her but give her bodily messages. it will take time though and she will eventually get the message. Don't be set down if she doesn't get it immediately, keep trying.

I want guys to do 90% of the work -- calling, texting, making plans, etc. I like to be chased. If they don't initiate, I probably won't.

That said, if I tell a guy no and do NOT offer an alternative meeting time, it's not part of the game. I really mean NO.

If I haven't responded yet, it's because I'm considering whether or not I want to go out with that person. If he keeps calling obsessively it'll turn me off, and I'll respond with a quick no.

I like a guy to persue me genuinely. I definitely think the guy should do most of the chasing and persisting. BUT there is a fine line between persistence and pressure and if I truly don't like the guy and tell him to stop and he won't, then we have a problem. But if I'm flirting back and showing an interest but I'm just not ready to make a move, then I appreciate persistence!
