He left for deployment a few days ago. He has called me babe and cute before, but first called me sweetie yesterday over text. My dad calls my mom sweetie. I got very excited. Do you think it means anything? I plan to tell him how much I love it.

this seems like a highschooly question BUT if it was through text and he hasn't said it before, he probably thought about it... a lot. don't make a big deal about it, but something simple like "I like when you call me that" next time he says it, will let him know you like it and make him feel comfortable saying it. this works with anything really. you got the power of the kitten.
