Boyfriend texting other girl?

My on and off boyfriend (long distance) has recently been coming online a lot. 3 weeks ago he was online every 2 mins on Whatsapp.

The next week, strangely his activity reduced to almost not opening his whatsapp for long hours. Twice, he only opened it 1 time during the whole day when he replied to me.

On 3 ocassions, he was gone after 5pm or 6pm.

Since the last 2 days, he has been again frequently texting again. 2 days ago he replied to me at 6am in the morning and was constantly texting someone but last evening, he disappeared after 7pm. Today again, gone after 5pm.

I dont want to suspect but isn't this odd?

If he's such a frequent texter, how come he goes offline for long hours unless he actually with the person he's texting?

There's not enough information provided to determine whether it's sus or not. You know him best and you should know yourself. So if your gut is telling you he's up to no good then maybe listen to it.
