Why would my ex call me at 4am?

We had have no contact for a month now after outer break up. Just today, early in the morning I saw a missed call and it was his. He called at 4am today (Sat). Could he have been drinking on friday? Why would he call me at 4am? So confuse... while I'm sleeping.
