so i liked my best guy friend (im in a relationship now with a different guy) and we used to sit together nd we werent uncomfortable hanging out alone. i asked him for dating advice nd he said i should date my current boyfriend if thats what i wanted to do.. so i did.

so i told him i decided to date my current boyfriend and now my friend acting weird. he said that he was happy for me but he wouldn't sit as closely as before and when we were alone he'd ask me where his other friends were and yeah. then i asked him who he liked and he said "no one atm"

so now im confused what does this mean?

It seems he likes you. He didn't want to interfere with your life but still wanted you to choose him. He likely finds it awkward to be around you, maybe in case he gives your current boyfriend the wrong idea (seeing as you two are close)
