Why do ugly guys always try to talk to me?

I know some people are gonna burn me for asking this and I really don't mean to sound super conceited here, but come on. I'm a really good looking girl. I do get a lot of attention from guys. But I feel like I attract ugly guys way too much.

Like today, there's definitely a decent looking guy in my history class, but no, the ugliest white guy in the class is the one that approaches me. WHY? I have gotten attention from super hot guys but not as much as I get from ugly ones. Why do they think that they have a chance with me?

Is it the fact that I don't wear a lot of make-up and nice clothes? I mean I do make sure I look good and I wear decent clothes that flatter my figure, but I don't look like some preppy cheerleader or something.

But I'm still really hot. I workout, I have nice hair. I shave. What gives?

I'm going to be blunt: your attitude really bothers me. It's not because you think you're "really good-looking", but that you act like your beauty entitles you to only the best.

It doesn't. It entitles you to nothing.

First of all, attraction is entirely subjective. Someone may find you to be a 10 and another person may find you to be average or less than. Has it ever crossed your mind that the super hot guys you crave attention from just don't have any interest? Perhaps, their standards are even higher than yours and you don't fulfill XYZ on their check-list of aesthetic perfection.

Second, I realize you're basing your superiority over these poor "ugly" men on your physical attributes but on a less shallow level, what makes you think that you have a chance with them? You're in college--how do you know you're not rejecting the next Bill Gates or Donald Trump? Speaking of Trump, take a look at his latest wife. She's gorgeous. How about David Spade & Heather Locklear? Victoria Silvsedt & Chris Wragge? These are all women society has deemed among the best looking in the world but look who they've chosen. You don't have to date everyone who hits on you but at least be a decent human being to them; you may very well end up working for one of them.

Finally, there are millions of beautiful people on this earth. You must realize that by narrowing your field to only hot men you'll perpetually be competing with women younger than you, prettier than you, in better shape, etc. While it's good to have standards, I hope you don't take too long trying to find someone who meets every single one of your criteria. Looks fade fast and the male model you end up marrying may very well lose all of his hair and grow a beer belly like no other. I hope for your sake that when that happens you love more than just his good looks.

It comes with the territory. By looking as good as you say, you can't be naive. There are going to be a lot of guys approaching you no matter what.

As far as the ugly guys approaching you, it shows their confidence. Guys are told that they need confidence to have a chance with women.

Instead of getting upset that guys are approaching you, be thankful. There are probably tons of girls who never get approached and would be thrilled if a few guys talked to them, even if they are ugly. Just be nice to the guys you don't like but don't lead them on and it shouldn't be a problem.

Nope, ugly guys really need to do more to assess their league. Fat men should not approach fit women. Men with terrible skin should not approach women with nice skin. Men with poor hygiene and addiction problems shouldn't be approaching women who take care of their health.

Men have way too much audacity and too little empathy for the women they approach.

Yoiur clothes, makeup, demeanor, body language etc tells guys whether you are approachable or not.. In some way, you are telling the not so hot guys that they can approach. There is nothing wrong with this -- it could be just the way you carry yourself.

By putting on a little more makeup (and I mean a little); dressing differently; and flirting with the better looking guys, you may find the game changes for you. Funny, the most drop dead gorgeous girl I ever met claimed the ugly guys had nothing to lose by talking to her and the good lookers figured she already had a BF.

Kind of weird right- I mean the seemingly "ugly" guys have more balls to approach a girl such as yourself than the better looking ones. And if you think about it, most good looking guys don't really have to put out much effort as girls come to them. Maybe cause the 'ugly' guys are used to getting shot down . they strength is thee tenacity not looks. so the hot guy is a little more reticent to falter... they have an 'image' to up hold, not just to conquer :)

Q.A. : I want to add. these 'ugly' guys first of all they are not 'ugly' they are simply not your taste.

& they may like there personalities. not all people assume looks are the make it or break it element to relationships- even just attraction. It is normal to assume that if They like them selves you might too.

I am considered hot by lots of people & I never assume any guy I like want will like me

I like people who are actualy cool not just hot.

There are mazing people that hotness can not buy :)
