Why does he avoid eye contact when we walk past each other and act uncomfortable around me?

I don't know him and I've never spoke to him but there's this guy who I see in school and I have a crush on him. Whenever I walk past him I always stare but he just deliberately avoids eye contact and if he's laughing and talking with a friend he will stop if I walk past. Once we almost walked in to each other and he looked so nervous and uncomfortable. He is also quite shy so is he acting like this because he likes me or is he not interested?

Well, just talk to the guy so you can know eachother better and he doesn't feel that intimidated by you. After that if he doesn't ask you on a date, you should. Dont tell him "u wanna go on a date with me", but tell him in like a playful way, I don't know for example "did you see that new movie that came out? Wanna go watch it?" Something like that i mean, and im sure he will accept. Good luck 😀

Umm.. i dont know, im trying to put myself in his postion, i think he is probably ignoring you because he is scared to actually approach you and if you ignore him to i dont think that would solve anything. I think what the best thing to do is to not ignore him and you need to find something or some excuse to go talk to him, because the reaction he will have to you talking to him is very important. If he acts nervous then he 100% likes you and you should try talking more about stuff, of he acts cold that means he doesn't really like you or he got over you someway😂. But yeah as i said, just find an excuse to talk to him in the corridor, that will be the best thing to do in my opinion.

As I said he seems nervous and when he sees me he'll walk past quickly so I don't want to bother him if he doesn't want me to. But I guess making an excuse to talk to him is the only way, I'm just really bad at thinking of things like that..

You can also try to smile at him playfully when you pass him in the corridor when he is alone and he looks at you. That would give him more confidence to approach you if he likes you. Then if he doesn't he is a total pussy or he just doesn't like you.

I'll try and catch his eye and smile but he just always avoids looking at me, even if his friends do. Like today I was sitting on the wall and him and his friend walked past and they were talking but then he saw me and just went silent and avoided eye contact with me even though his friend looked at me. I just don't know how to get his attention

Hmm i dont really know either to be honest😂, i guess you can lightly bump into him "accidentally", then start a conversation by asking him of his name or something. But you need to do that when he is alone not with his friends. Also if you can catch him alone when school is over for the day and just go talk to him, that can be something too.

His friends don't tease him, they just see me looking in their direction and look back at me but he doesn't. Or if he's far away his friend will stare at me but he'll just avoid looking at me. There was only one occasion where he looked at me and that was on sports day and he stared at me the whole day but ever since then, he won't.

I've had a similar situation with a girl once, and even though I tried to talk to her, she wasn't talking much. So I actually gave up on her. But since she broke up with her boyfriend a year later, she then started staring at me secretly, similar to your situation I guess. Anyways that creeps me out, since I even asked her to stop, three times, but she hasn't for 2 years now.

Anyways, when I later wondered why she acted so weird, and I hardly saw her around either, I decided to go to her classes, but she only called me a stalker. So you should see if that might work out for you, but I guess that's your only chance with him.

Him and his friends are all older than me and I just don't know how to talk to any of them if I only ever pass them in the corridor, I mean I can't exactly start a conversation when they walk right past me.
