Why do men disappear and reappear?

Why repeatedly ghost a woman more than once? Yes I know sex is an obvious reason but what are some other possible reasons?

Any guy who does this to you sees you as nothing more than just a booty call or back up plan. It is highly likely that whatever relationship, fuck buddy, friend with bennies, or whatever failed and so he is hitting you up to see if you're still interested in him. He will ghost you again once he finds someone else, been there before. Stop allowing him to do that and he'll quit too.

Devil's advocate here: Of the many guys who pills this off, there's at least one who does that unintentionally and sure to extenuating circumstances: amnesia cases by head trauma, getting run over by a bus or a reindeer, losing one's phone... etc.
A lot of times, it's all about getting a discourteous dumbass only.
