Guys, What does it mean when a guy slaps your thigh?

I have a Russian guy friend who told me to put my hands under my legs (I did that) then he slapped both of my thigh at once (upper thigh).
Few days later he then slapped my left (cuz it was closest to him) thigh (middle). Then after a few seconds when I turned my head away he slap the same spot.
Why does he do this?
