Why does he shut me out?

How do you deal with a guy that gets angry with you (for some reason), doesn't confront you about it but instead all of a sudden turns around to you and tells you he don't want to stay in contact with you anymore? A couple of days before everything was fine. What is that behavior all about? Wouldn't you normally give an explanation?

It seems like every time he feels hurt he absolutely shuts down and eliminate him from his life entirely. Now he refuses to talk to me or respond if I email or text him. I don't think that's very nice of him. What should I do?

Each guy has his own way of dealing with their emotions, but depending on the style he was raised in it is often harder for guys to show any emotion to anybody for it looks like a sign of weakness.

Therefor this is no short answer to help him out of this emotion shell. you could think about moving on or help him to open up. as men we just need a little time to true in another person.

Just let him know you are their for him and try not to bug him out opening up or he could be acting childish. thinking this is a plot for him to want your attention.

Maybe you should consider moving on. If he's shutting you out to the point where he won't return your calls it's unlikely to get better. Some people are just emotionally closed off. If he won't share his feelings with you or let you know what he is thinking then you will always be unhappy. I'm sorry.

some people react this way. they'd rather not express what's bothering them. but you need to respect his wishes for space. that would be respecting the boundary he is setting at this time. and for your sake, if he isn't telling you what's wrong you don't know what to fix... so assume you did nothing at all and keep on moving. your not a psychic and you shouldn't have to try to be to figure out his deal. if he won't express it verbally... its probably not worth saying. smile missy he did you a favor and eliminated himself from your life.

Assuming he's around your chronological age, he's acting like a 5-year-old.

You might ask your self why you are/were attracted to him.
