are men who like big boobs and big butts superficial?

i don't think so. I think everyone likes different things. if that's the only thing or the main thing you look for then you may be superficial and shallow. however simply being attraced to guys/girls who look a certain way doesn't make you superficial and shallow in itself. I like muscular guys to a certain extent. I also like skinny guys sometimes (not too skinny). etc. I don't like fat or super skinny guys. I'm bi though and for some reason I find I can get attracted to curvy and chubby women but with guys its different. women just distribute weight better. that's random but it just came to mind lol

[justcami]

C

i personally believe it could be either of them. If she bases her decision only on that then yes. As in if a guy that's not muscular tries to approach her and she is into his personality but does not give him a chance because of his appearance then yes it is shallow.

But if a girl just has a preference, and its a necessarily to be her date then no. We all prefer something over another. It depends how far it is taken. If the appearance either makes or breaks the relationship, then yes. If its just an "option" to have that quality then no.

[Standingpretty]

I think all types of girls are into all types of guys. I mean, even if a girl is shallow, she isn't neccessarily going to go for a muscular guy, shallow in terms of only going for looks means a girl could go for skinny or chubby guys because that's what's "hot" to her. Girls could go after a muscular guy too because of his personality or other traits he has as well so to say that only "shallow" girls go for a guy who happens to be muscular is an unfair and untrue assumption.

[qwer1234]

I know there are all kinds of variation. But what I'm really interested in are tendencies. Girls tend to like guys with muscles, right? Not, all girls, but the vast majority of girls tend to be into muscles, right?

[Standingpretty]

I think girls happen to like muscular guys in general because it's in between the two extremes of being obese and anorexic.

[sonic241928]

I voted C. Many girls (if not most?) like a well-built guy, but to some, they just care that he's in fairly good physical shape. Being muscular is masculine and thus I don't think women are necessarily shallow when they're attracted at sight to such guys; attraction can't be helped. However, if if a woman is basing her desire for a guy JUST on his physique, and isn't willing to consider his personality, his character, their compatibility, etc. before jumping into a relationship with him, then yes, she's shallow.

[TimeAndTimeAgain]

No. I actually think girls are shallow in many other aspects that have nothing to do with how muscular a guy is. Some girls like muscular guys, but it's not that important. You don't have to have muscles to make a girl be interested in you, or to make her feel like having sex with you.

Just like how girls don't need to look like a freakin' supermodel to make you want to have sex with them.

[qwer1234]

So what do you think makes them wanting have $ x with the guy?

[TimeAndTimeAgain]

How he makes her feel, the way he treats her, talks to her, and touches her.

Those are the things that make a girl want to have sex with a guy. Notice it has nothing to do with how a guy looks. This is the reason why horrible people are able to get girls to sleep with them, and this is why girls are shallow - it doesn't matter who the guy is, what he's done, how many people he's lied to, cheated, or even KILLED, as long as he treats her nice, makes her feel good, and knows what to say.

[qwer1234]

People still don't know what you're talking about. How should the guy make her feel? How should the guy treat her? How should he touch her?

[BadAnna]

I think you've been abused and need a hug.

[Mesonfielde]

https://www.fullofhateandreadytodate.com/blog/10-reasons-nice-guys-finish-last/

This is how. You just have to care while not caring, love while not loving, be available yet unavailable, approachable yet unapproachable, friendly but distant, sensitive yet unemotional. And then, you have yourself a girl. (also, you must make her know that you are interested, but not cilngy-interested - you must make her be attracted with your actions to make her feel attracted, then she will accept you closing on)

[Mesonfielde]

I voted C.

There are girls who like muscular men.

There are girls who don't care about muscles (though they don't want the guy fat).

There are girls who don't like muscular men.

Obviously this is a debate saying "is a guy shallow for liking big breasts". It is not his fault that that is his physical preference. I don't think it has anything to do with shallowness. We don't directly define our sexual attraction basis.

[qwer1234]

No, I didn't mean: "Because they like muscles they are shallow". Actually my intention was to find out whether some traits go together. Like people who are intelligent like classical music. Just an example.

[Mesonfielde]

I doubt that. I mean, I listen to some classical-influenced music like Ludovico Einaudi's Divenire album, but I personally dislike Mozart. And I wouldn't consider myself dumb. It's all in the preference, really. What you heard while you were growing up. I used to like black metal, now I listen to electronic music (Pendulum, NightRadio), and I doubt that it makes me dumber than Chopin or Beethoven (who were really skilled pianists in their era).

[qwer1234]

I haven't said not liking classical music is a sign of stupidity, either.

[Mesonfielde]

But not all intelligent people like classical music either.

[qwer1234]

Yeah, but if you're intelligent, you will in all liklihood like classical music. So classical music is a sign, that shows he's got at least an iq above 100. Got it?

[Mesonfielde]

Well I really doubt this "relation" is a proven fact.

[qwer1234]

What intelligence and classical music? Well, it was just an example I made up to put my point across....

[Mesonfielde]

Wait, so you didn't mean it? haha, whoops.

I have a great question for you. What is "shallow"?

[qwer1234]

It was just an example I quickly made up to put my across, since you wouldn't get it right. Use a dictionary, if you don't know what shallow means. :-*

[Anonymous]

that's not fair to say. just because you appreciate the body of a man who is athletic or puts in work to take care of himself doesn't mean you are shallow and superficial. that would be like saying only shallow and superficial guys are into girls that are in shape. people like what they like, you can't consciously help who you are going to be attracted to. and it just so happens that people who are in their physical peak are going to be more physically attractive. I'm far from shallow and superfical and I typically prefer men who have athletic bodies.

[secondbestkiller]

No, it's just a preference. Sure, it's a bit shallow, but what's wrong with that? Everyone is a bit shallow, cause everyone wants someone they're attracted to. Just as most guys would be attracted to a girl with a nice body. It's normal, and having a preference, such as muscles, doesn't make them super shallow. Only if she likes you ONLY for that, would she be shallow. Also, I'm personally not that into muscles anyway.

[saphirasilverwings]

Any girl can like muscular guys. It depends on her personal tastes and what she is attracted to. The difference is that shallow or superficial people usually value appearances more, rather than valuing intelligence, kindness, etc in the person. People who are less superficial can still appreciate physical things, they just usually prioritize them less.

[Kjpuppy7]

When I was a young girl, I was into guys who didn't have super buff bodies. This is the way I am still not concerned about if a guy is incredibly buff. My only requirement is that he takes care of his hygiene, stronger than me, and his workout time does not take out the time we share together.

[danalane]

I think most girls are into guys with muscles because it's a sign of strength. We say it's "hot" but is it really visually attractive or our subconsious telling us the man is a good provider. I'm not really sure. Women who are "superficial" are not willing to lower their standards. So it's safe to say that girls who think that they themselves are hot want a sexy boyfriend for sure.

[Hughman]

If it's for muscles only, then yes, that's something shallow girls are into.

However, that is uncommon. What girls like in a muscular guy is that he is likely to be dedicated and driven (in order to get the muscle mass) and he is likely to be confident, and frankly, more manly.

[rissaboo45]

Most girls love muscular guys.. but honestly.. with most girls that's just a plus if you have a great personality.. that's what I go for at least.. if a girl cares about the appearance of their guy.. then their going to care more about the face.. But I honestly care more about personality then I do looks..

[Brando]

I voted none of the above. To say that is like saying all guys who appreciate a beautiful woman are shallow/superficial, yet we all appreciate the beauty. Same goes for girls, just because she likes the way a guy looks doesn't mean anything other than her appreciating the beauty and being attracted to it.

[Anonymous]

Duuuuuude it's all in our biology. Muscles = more testosterone, more testosterone = better spermies. It also makes you look more capable and stronger. It's definately not shallow, that would make you guys shallow for liking a girl with curves. It's when a girl turns down a guy just based on the fact that he's not muscular that she's shallow.

[Mesonfielde]

I have never heard that one before. But, it might be in your biology because you think it is. If you want to make your attraction basis valid by blaming it on biology.. Fine by me. But that doesn't change the fact that for humans, our thoughts define what in our perception attractive traits will be, than biological attraction and all this "survival of the tribe and cavemen" bulls---. Most of this, you would not think about if you hadn't heard it before. And you kept it, and now it defines you.

[qwer1234]

Wow... our thoughts define our perceptions.... nice, man! Where do you have that from?

[Opinion Owner]

Think what you want to think but when it comes down to it, fitter men are more attractive no matter the reason behind it.

[jimi_s]

Omitting the biology theories, the last statement in this response, in my opinion, makes it the best answer.

[vmw2008]

Are only shallow and superficial guys into boobs/butts/curves/pretty faces? Lets be real. You can't appreciate a woman's attractiveness while bashing women for appreciating a man's attractiveness. I love muscles on a guy.

[qwer1234]

Your argument isn't valid. women and men have different standards when it comes to attraction.

[vmw2008]

Lol wait wait, so a guy is just a guy if he he's into boobs/butts/curves/pretty faces, but a girl is shallow if she likes guys with muscles? Hahah can't argue with ignorance.

[qwer1234]

Guys tend to be attracted to looks, while girls tend to be attracted to status.... why I'm ignorant. Men and females have different functions when it comes to sex, hus this reflect the mating ritual. Males can't get pregnant, can they?

[vmw2008]

Just because certain attraction characteristics are more important to one sex than the other, doesn't mean it's the only factor in attraction. If that were the case, guys would only be dating models and girls would only be dating famous superstars. Guys care about looks, but personality matters. Girls care about personality, but looks matter. I've never been called shallow in my whole life, and I love muscles. Sue me.

[qwer1234]

How would you describe yourself personality wise?

[vmw2008]

People close to me have called me outgoing, intellectual, easy to talk to, & witty.

[peace-love-couture]

QA,I think you're trying to justify why women shouldn't be attracted to men but rather personality.Think again, both men and women are human beings, both visual and auditory, women do need to be attracted to the man physically.Don't let your frustration of your short comings come out as false information

[vmw2008]

^^^ Seriously!

[qwer1234]

Lol! what shortcomings do you think I've got? I'm muscular, but I don't want to attract shallow girls. That's why I asked this question.

[vmw2008]

When you look good, you're bound to attract people that are shallow. Women especially run into this every single day. But what you're also bound to attract are people that aren't shallow AND look good themselves. People that have good personalities but are also more physically attractive to you. I think it's worth the risk.

[qwer1234]

Do you think, it's better to hide/ cover up my muscles? I've never show off my physique. I think most of my friends don't even know I'm toned. Do you think covering up is a good "strategy".... it's a weird question, I know.....-.-

[peace-love-couture]

If you were oh so confident and attractive you wouldn't ask the questions you do.Constantly, all about women being shallow/superficial

[xxxMoneyxxx]

this guy probably isn't muscular XD

[human_condition]

I'm not at all concerned with looks in a boyfriend, but at the same time muscular guys kind of scare me. My 'type' is probably geeky skinny guys. It all comes down to personality, but muscular guys are normally pretty vain :/

[qwer1234]

Would you turn a guy with muscles down?

[human_condition]

Depends on his personality. His muscles wouldn't affect my answer.

[Vieanna]

I don't think there really is a thing called shallow or superficial. I know their words, but still people are allowed to have their prefrences.

Some guys like their girls to be super thin, some like them to have mean, some like fat chicks. Some people only date people of certain races or ethnicities. It's all about prefrence, but no matter who you are, there is going to be somebody out there for you.

[Anonymous]

i'm into muscular guys and I'm not shallow and superficial. that almost sounds like something a non-muscular guy would say to make himself feel better. muscular guys need love too. it's hot to see a guy that takes care of his body and is strong and looks masculine. that doesn't make me shallow for appreciating the male form. I'm not going to pretend I don't notice bulging biceps and a 6 pack just so I won't be called "shallow".

[Reeses-pieces777]

not all girls are shallow and superficial therefore not only those type of girls are into muscular guys. you can have a non-shallow and non-superficial go for a muscular guy with a great personality as well.

[qwer1234]

But I'm interested in tendencies. Yeah there are all kinds of girls for all kinds of guys. But specific kind of girls tend to like specific kind of guys.

[Anonymous]

People have different tastes. The more muscular the guy, the more I personally am attracted to him, but my boyfriend whom I love is concave he's so skinny. I know what I like, but I'm not so shallow to only date a muscular guy regardless of personality

[Anonymous]

I don't care so much about muscle as long as you aren't fat.

It's a principle of lifestyle. Whether you lead a healthy, active lifestyle or not. I would much rather date someone with very little body fat or muscle compared to someone who is overweight. It tells me that they look after themselves and their bodies and their health overall.

It's not shallow to want a healthy partner.

Good luck.

[kmhco]

Of course there are women that are attracted to muscular guys that aren't shallow. They will just expect the muscular guy to have a good personality as well. And most women don't like the bodybuilders with giant muscles.

[qwer1234]

When does it reach gigantic meassures. Could you post a pic, that shows the limit of having too much muscles? Does this guy need more training?

https://i33.tinypic.com/2lstykm.jpg

[kmhco]

These are all too muscular:

[usagichan]

Lots of different kinds of people like lots of different kinds of things. I myself LOVE muscular calves and arms, toned (but not chiseled) abs, and have little other preferences. Guys who are overall muscular kind of creep me out, so *shrugs.*

[qwer1234]

1. how would you describe yourself personality wise?

2. Where's the line between toned but not chiseled. How would you catagorized this:

https://i38.tinypic.com/2i9s0ea.jpg

[stonerman]

I am sure all girls like muscle on a guy, When I was slightly over weight I couldn't get a girl to look at me twice. A gym membership and a year later I have met more girls in the last 6 months than in my previous 22 years lol

[lviav]

It depends. Are all muscular guys shallow and superficial?

[qwer1234]

No they arent. But I've heard too much muscles can be a deal breaker for them that's why I asked. Do you think, it would hurt if this guy would work out on his chest a bit more? More defined pecs, I mean?

https://i38.tinypic.com/2i9s0ea.jpg

https://i33.tinypic.com/2lstykm.jpg

[miki94]

I will like a muscular guy if he impresses me with something more then he's muscles. If it's just muscles he has to show, then yes... He will only attract superficial girls. =/

[SweetestSinxxx]

There's nothing wrong with being attracted to hot guys. The only people who think its wrong or superficial are fugly guys.

If those guys are so open, why aren't they going for fugly girls instead of complaining that girls are going for hotter guys?

[blufrenzy93]

No, there are down to earth girls who like muscular guys.

It's all about preference.

Plus, it wouldn't be right if a sweet, non-superficial girl got attracted to a guy with a bit of muscles, but had to turn him down just because he looks good.

[dalila]

No girls that are fit my personal trainner is a girl and for her a guy needs to be muscular I don't like it actually but she isn't superficial just her preference

[nickel]

No. But a shy or genuine girl may assume that the said boy is also shallow or superficial, and therefore may not be willing to make a move on him.

[qwer1234]

But than she's superficial. She assumes personality traits in a guy, she never spoke with. That would make her superficial. Am I right on this one?

[nickel]

I don't know that I agree. We all make assumptions based upon stereotypes, which I'm not saying is good or bad, it is just what we have learned from society. Her assumption does not necessarily mean she is superficial, it could just be her way of avoiding rejection.

[qwer1234]

Well, judging a person jusst by his looks alone is superficial to me. and I think it's the definition of this word anyway.

[sophiabush123]

not necessarily, I mean all girls love some sort of muscle on a guy but they would not judge a guy based on his muscles and superficial girls would judge a guy on his muscles

[someonexxx]

Ever girl would be crazy if she weren't into them! And actually, boys that are like that; I.e. Perfect then maybe he starts getting the girl worried about her own appearance when she's perfectly fine!

[LadyZee]

I just prefer my men to be muscular (Not meat head muscular, though...that's gross to me.). Actually, I like my men to have meat on their bones...so if their muscular, fat, or both, I don't care.

[BadAnna]

I like my man to be muscular, yet if he looked like that's all he did was work out, I would be completely turned off. I also wouldn't want him fat though. OMG...maybe I am shallow. jk

[ReddyorNot]

No. I'm into muscular guys and I'm not shallow. What brought this up?There's nothing wrong with having a boyfriend with muscle

[Greeneyes4242]

Not necessarily, I mean they're attractive but bot ny type at all. It just dependson the girl, not whether she's shallow or not.

[XBellaX]

No everyone has their own taste in men... some girls just like muscular men, doesn't mean they are shallow.

[thebestapple]

I picked c. Not all girls are into muscular guys. However, I am, though it's nota deal breaker if he's not. And I'm not shallow at all.

[Shiner4]

I think muscular guys are sexy and prefer a guy with a little muscle but I'm atttracted to others too.

[Kevin]

All girls appreciate a good body, but their definition of a good body varies from person to person. Duh.

[Anonymous]

I don't know, I'm pretty muscular and I have a very un-shallow girl. I know some shallow girls with some overweight beer belly, rich guys. So it depends on their tastes.

[Anonymous]

Someone can have the best body in the world but unless they have a brain also its not going to work out.

[cacapisu]

No, everyone likes someone who keeps himself/herself in good shape

[ladyinred1989]

i pick c. I honestly don't lie a lot of muscle on a guys...that's just me

[qwer1234]

When it's too much for you? Are these too much already? If not, which part should he be working on?

https://i33.tinypic.com/2lstykm.jpg

https://i38.tinypic.com/2i9s0ea.jpg

[ladyinred1989]

No...the pics are fine. Just don't get any bigger! It just doesn't do anything for me when a guys is bigger...

[qwer1234]

The same question to you, too: How would you describe yourself personality wise?

[ladyinred1989]

I am italian so I have a huge attitude lol I am more of the girl who is al buddy, buddy with you...i am more chill and go with the flow...

[Anonymous]

i am not shallow or superficial but I like muscular guys. but my 1st 2nd and 3rd priority would be his personality. not having muscle is not not gonna stop me from dating a guy if he has a good personality.

[Anonymous]

any girl can appreciate a hot guy regradless of their own appearance

[Anonymous]

it really just depends because I myself would choose a skinny guy over a guy with a 6pack any day

[qwer1234]

How would you describe yourself personality-wise?

[Anonymous]

Oh, no not at all girls just like to feel protected and so on and so forth. Or so they say I guess.

[What-If]

No, everyone likes a nice body.

[mattiee]

no its just a preference

[Janeeeeeeeey]

I don't think I'm superficial ):

[Anonymous]

No, because most guys are into skinny girls

[qwer1234]

Skinny is the wrong term, here.

[Katheartsyou]

I very much dislike muscles

[kaimaster11]

You gotta be kiddin me.....women are even more complicated than I thought......most of the guys I know basically have the same type of attraction level to a particular woman....like: thin=good, fat=bad, anorexic=weird

obviously theirs gonna be some variation, but I never thought a girl would dislike muscles

[Katheartsyou]

I personally like something I can grab onto.. Something nice and comfy and mushy :P I like to be able to wrap my legs around the guy and fall asleep. They don't have to be fat or skinny, but when there's nothing but rock solid pecks and abs I'm not comfy.

[qwer1234]

How would you describe yourself personality-wise?

[Katheartsyou]

Down to earth I guess. I'm definitely not superficial so maybe I shouldn't have answered this lol.

[Red_Head_Em]

No

[Tamikaze]

No.

[BlackSuperman]

hell naw
