Do guys ever ghost a girl because they're starting to catch feelings?

Would guys do so? Simple answer, yes. Some would.

They could have a multitude of reasons. Some guys might feel that he is incompatible with the girl of his interest and therefore would pull away before the emotions get too strong. Makes sense.

Some guys would stop just because he is (yes, catching feels) but is getting bored of her. Sounds bad but what is meant that communication between them is either difficult, or the girl is playing games, and men hate that. Kinda like the hunter in that kid's show back then who really wanted to just shoot the rabbit already and get it done.

Another reason is that this man has emotional issues, he feels suppressed either by society or other sources, and thinks that having emotions is bad, and is either embarrassed or whatever else. Basically, people like this tend to have loving issues in the past (or none at all) and just have troubles accepting it. This goes for women too. I've seen it happen. They don't know how to go about these new feelings so they disappear.

Depression and other mental ailments can be at play too.

There are probably multiple other reasons why people ghost right when they start feeling things, but I listed some of the main ones.

My (personal) situation:

I'm not necessarily ghosting a girl, however I'm acting different towards her recently because my feelings for her are killing me.

It hurts me more to forcefully sit myself in isolation than to sit next to her and talk to her like I usually do. While we might have almost everything compatible and we have fun together, our communication sucks and I feel like she won't reciprocate my feelings either. I want her to notice and say something, because I can't bring myself to. It's a living hell.

It's usually the other way around. Usually they feel the girl is catching feelings and they're not on the same page. So they walk away rather than having the awkward conversation.

Generally no. But maybe if the girls life was a wreck and the guy was catching feelings for her but was scared because he didn't want to live that life. Or maybe he was just into her giant tits and got that ass and bailed cuz the pan wasn't good.

Ohhh ok, well I did it once, not exactly ghosting but, Me, a Girl-Friend, and his Boyfriend (also my friend). We used to hang out a'lot, go out, get coffee, eat, and stuff. One day, it felt different, i'm starting to "crush" on my girl-friend. I stopped hanging out with them, my reason that i'm busy, but really don't want to be their third wheel anymore, and i don't to ruin our friendship.
