What are your favorite and least favorite things about being single?

I love being single! maybe because I'm 22, but I feel more comfortable that way :)

most importatly because I'm able to pursue the life that is most meaningful to me.

and a few extras:

You can go out and flirt as much as your heart desires, without a worry in the world!

You don't have to deal with anyone's grumpy, moody personalities

You can be happy with who you are, not who he wants you to be

You can spend as much time as you want with your family and friends

No more checking with someone to see if 'it's okay' to tell someone yes or no to an invitation. You can accept on the spot

No one is going to get insulted when you spend the day at the beach checking out the lifeguards

You can have eight hours of undisturbed sleep with the covers all to yourself

The TV Guide crossword puzzle is YOURS, ALL YOURS

LOL I could go on!

The only thing I don't like about being single is the pressure from my mom to get a boyfriend lol! I think she's scared she's not going to have any granchildren

Favorite:

- Not having to worry about how he will feel about certain things

- I have a lot of guy friends, and a lot of guys that I start dating don't like that at all. My ex once yelled at me and said I was a slut cause I was hanging out with guys... never understood why it was necessary to freak out when I wasn't doing anything at all.

- FREEDOM and being able to flirt with whomever I want to and possibly hooking up with them

- Going out with my friends without feeling guilty

- Not having to choose between my friends and my boyfriend some times

- Being able to do what I want to do and not sacrificing some things in order to keep him happy

Least:

- At the end of the day, it gets kind of lonely when you don't have someone that cares about you and vice versa.

- No one to have sex with when I want

Favourite thing: The freedom I guess, I don't have to really worry about being in a relationship, I can talk to anyone and do anything without having to think twice about commitments to a partner.

Least favourite: I miss the anxious feeling you get the moments before you're about to see your partner.

It's indescribable, and anyone who has been in a relationship knows the anxious and excited feeling they get when they know that in a few moments, they're going to see the person they want to see the most and then the rush of excitement and adreneline when you finally do see them. And I dearly miss that when I'm single.

No I got friends, it's just different doing things with a girl than with a bunch of guys, and lately they all have gf's so I'm just kinda out on my own because they are to busy, one friend of mine was nice enough to go play tennis with me and he even let me sit and wait an hour and half while he talked to his girlfriend on the phone. Also since I'm in college I've lost contact with h.s. friends so when I go back home for holiday I don't really have them to go to, got wait until back at college

I can't understand why people think it's so bad... I guess what I like most is learning to be happy with myself without depending on someone else. Makes me feel better about myself than when I'm happy because of another person.
